Tonight I thought about the last few years of dating and my professional life. At many points along the way we get the feeling of “I can’t” when going for whatever or whomever we want. We keep seeing this great-looking stranger, and we tell ourselves, I can’t approach them. We see a fantastic opportunity and don’t feel worthy. We shame ourselves and play on the thoughts told to us by someone or by society that we aren’t good enough.
Tonight I thought about dating, my future and where many friends are professionally to realize one thing:
When you feel someone is too cute for you, most likely they aren’t. Put away the insecurity.
Everything isn’t as pristine as it seems on the outside. Whether it’s the person catching our eyes or a great opportunity, we must remember we are worthy. We are worthy of our hearts’ desires, and confidence will make all the difference.
